  • Dr. Maitri Chaudhuri is a consultant in Paediatric Cardiology with a wealth of experience and qualifications in her field. She holds an MBBS degree from Medical College, Calcutta, and an MD (Paediatrics) from SCB Medical College, Cuttack. In addition, Dr. Chaudhuri has completed a post-doctoral Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology from the National Board of Examinations, Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre in New Delhi.

  • She specialises in fetal and transitional hemodynamic assessment in high-risk pregnancies, neonatal cardiology, and managing life-threatening cardiac emergencies. She also has experience treating acquired heart conditions in children like Paediatric Syncope, Paediatric Arrhythmias, Paediatric Hypertension, and Kawasaki disease. In addition, she treats structural heart disease using both surgical and non-surgical methods.

  • She specialises in fetal and transitional hemodynamic assessment in high-risk pregnancies, neonatal cardiology, and managing life-threatening cardiac emergencies. She also has experience treating acquired heart conditions in children like Paediatric Syncope, Paediatric Arrhythmias, Paediatric Hypertension, and Kawasaki disease. In addition, she treats structural heart disease using both surgical and non-surgical methods.  

  • Dr. Chaudhuri is multilingual and fluent in Bengali, Hindi, Oriya, English, and Kannada. She has received numerous awards and achievements throughout her career, including the Savitri Shrivastav award for best imaging modality at the annual conference of the Paediatric Cardiac Society of India in 2017 and the Natesha Pandian award for best Echocardiography Imaging at the annual conference of the Indian Academy of Echocardiography in 2013. Dr. Chaudhuri has also been recognised for her contributions to the field through various publications in international and national journals.  

  • Dr. Chaudhuri is committed to community outreach through a philanthropic project, specifically in paediatric cardiology in remote Northeast India. She is also a reviewer in the Journal of the Indian Academy of Echocardiography. The doctor is also a proud member of several professional societies, including the Bangalore Paediatric Society, the Paediatric Cardiac Society of India, the Cardiology Society of India-Karnataka Chapter, and the Indian Academy of Echocardiography.  

  • The Advanced Fetal and 3-dimensional Echo Workshop for Cardiologists at Manipal Hospitals in Bangalore in 2017 was one of the workshops and speeches that Dr. Chaudhuri led. Among her significant works are "Hypertension, Stroke, and Abdominal Bruit: A Cryotic Extracranial Moya moya!" published in Indian J Paediatrics in 2016", and " Dilated Superior Vena Cava in Fetal Echocardiographic Three-Vessel View: What lays ahead?" published in Heart Asia in 2018.
