Stroke is the clinical state characterized by the appearance of focal or generalized disturbances in a cerebral function that lasts for more than 24 hours or results in death with no other obvious cause than a vascular origin. Causes of Stroke

Stroke is known as the second major cause of increased mortality and the third leading cause of disability across the globe.
