  • Mouth sores

 

There are different types of mouth sores.  Cancer sores, blisters caused due to fever, cold sores and ulcers are few types. Until and unless these sores persist for a week or so, there is nothing to worry about, as these are self-limiting. But, if it lasts for a long time it is better to visit a dentist.

 

 

  • Tooth sensitivity

 

Tooth sensitivity is another common complaint. Tooth sensitivity is a condition in which you may experience pain and discomfort while having sweets, cold drinks or ice cream. Some people even find it difficult to brush as they experience discomfort while brushing or flossing their teeth. Toothaches are majorly caused due to persistent infection in the teeth or gums. It is important to brush your teeth properly to avoid such pains.

  • Brush your teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once before going to bed.
  • Avoid foods that contain lots of sugar.

  • Schedule regular visits to your dentist.
