He has received various prestigious awards and fellowships for his work in Neurology. He is the Consultant of Neurology at the Manipal Hospital in Bangalore's Whitefield area. Dr. Santosh got his medical license from the Karnataka Medical Council in 2012. He was a student of the Sri Devraj URS Medical College. He completed his DNB in Neurology in 2012 through the National Board of Examinations of India. He is a member of the Indian Epilepsy Society and the Indian Academy of Neurology.   • During his years as an undergraduate, he won the gold medal in Opthalmology in the final year of his MBBS. He also received an award for Best Outgoing Cultural Artist in 2002 from his college. The camps were supported by the Public Health Department of the Government of Maharashtra and the Epilepsy Foundation of Mumbai. He is a life member of the Indian Academy of Neurology. He has worked on cases of peripheral nerve disorders, brain aneurysm surgery, brain tumour surgery, laminectomy, decompressor discectomy, and many other neurological procedures. The introductory book of the Karnataka post-graduate entrance exams includes a chapter written by him. He has written articles for other newspapers and magazines as well. One of his articles was published by the Deccan Herald on World Alzherimer's Day. He has worked on various cases of Alzheimer's disease. He has also written for other magazines like the Indian Journal of Psychiatry and indexed journals. He did a presentation about Wilson's disease in the Indian Journal of Psychiatry.

  • He is an expert in epilepsy, stroke, brain tumours, and headache management. He has also done procedures like PLIF (Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion), PET scans, neurological dysfunctions, ventriculoperitoneal shunt treatments, and spinal taps. As discussed above, he has a great interest in studying Alzheimer's disease as well. His articles have been published in reputed newspapers like Decan Herold. He can speak Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Marathi and English. He has written articles about generalised EEG Attenuation, cerebral venus, sinuous thrombosis, and painless orbit mycosis. His articles have been published in the magazines of reputed institutes, such as the publications of the Medical Council of India.
