He has used device closures like PDS, VSD, ASD, and LA Appendage as well. He has experience handling radiofrequency ablation, pacemaker, 3D mapping, radiofrequency ablation, and other devices used for heart failure. He has worked at the Fortis Hospital located in Bangalore on Bannerghatta Road. He knows how to speak Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, and Marathi, apart from English.

  • He is a member of the Indian Medical Association and the American College of Cardiology. He became a doctor after graduating from Mysore Medical College in 2005. He did his DM in Cardiology from the Grant Medical College in Mumbai and the J.J. Hospital in the same city. Before that, he had done his MD in General Medicine from SNMC Agra in 2009. He is a life member of the CSI and the IHRS. He was invited as a speaker and faculty member at the BEAT heart rhythm program in 2019. He was part of a live interaction organized by Manipal Hospitals, where he talked about protecting the heart in winter and how to prevent heart attacks. He made a case presentation at the National Intervention Council held in Kochi. His writing has been included in a 'Cardiology Update 2014 chapter titled 'Stroke in Cardiac Patients: Preventive Strategies.'' He has also written a chapter about pregnancy and valvular heart diseases for a book related to pregnancy medicine. He has done a comparative study of diabetic nephropathy in the year 2008. Dr. Prabhu was a Senior Consultant of Cardiology and Electrophysiology at Narayana Hospital in Bangalore. He was the Head of the Department there and was the one who started Electrophysiology in that hospital. He also started many clinical programs related to arrhythmia and heart failure. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor of the subject of Cardiology at the Grant Medical College in Mumbai.
