Pulse Oximetry
This is a noninvasive test done to measure the oxygen levels in the blood. A probe is clipped to the earlobe or finger and is connected to a monitoring device to keep track of pulse rate, heart rate, and blood flow, as well as oxygen saturation. It is used for breath assessment and for the monitoring of lung problems and blood vessel issues or any other condition that affects oxygen delivery.
