Interventional Nephrology Treatment in Gurugram

Interventional Nephrology

Interventional radiology is used in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the kidney, including:

  • Complex Central vein recanalization: Patients who have had multiple venous access can have blockage of the large veins which can be re-opened by interventional procedures.

  • Arteriovenous (AV) Fistulaplasty: A blockage or narrowing in an AV  fistula dilated with a balloon.

  • Thrombolysis of Arteriovenous (AV) fistula: An Arteriovenous fistula thrombolysis is treated by dissolving the blood clots in the fistula, and improving the blood supply.

  • Permcath insertion: Permcath is a flexible tube that is inserted through a vein in the neck for short-term dialysis treatment.

  • Renal Artery stenting: Atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis is treated by placing a stent in the renal artery in selected cases.

  • Translumbar IVC Dialysis line: This procedure is performed in patients who have blockage of most commonly used veins for access.
