Overview:
The brain is a cluster of neural tissues fused together to form the complex working structure which helps us do all our thinking. An easy way to assess the health, or extent of damage by stroke, or to map the activity of the brain, is done through a test called the Electroencephalogram or EEG. EEG is a test that records the electrical activity of the brain and brain wave patterns. It is a painless procedure involving the placement of sensors on the scalp to detect electrical impulses originating from brain activity.
